Whitney Houston has received the exclusive right to custody of their 14-year-old daughter Kristina Houston Brown, reported BBC News.
Father is a girl singer Bobby Brown, the former husband of Houston. Performer documents filed for divorce in September 2006, citing "insurmountable differences." Brown and Houston have entered into marriage in 1992.
Houston told the California court that Brown was "unreliable" father and daughter could not rely on him. In turn, lawyer Brown said that filed the appeal.
Note that prior to both parents Christine Houston Brown had problems with the law, particularly relating to drug use. Whitney Houston bear twice in a rehabilitation clinic, and Bobbi Brown was in custody, most recently in February 2007. Then the singer refused to pay for two of her children from previous marriages.
